The Best of Acadiana
July 10, 2015
Every year, The Advertiser puts on the The Times of Acadiana community-driven awards event where locals are able to vote for their favorite businesses in the Acadiana area in an attempt for them to win a “Best of” award.
The “Best of” winners make a great guide for visitors looking to experience what Acadiana locals consider the best of their area. If you are planning to visit Lafayette, LA, in the near future, consider some of our “Best of” winners when looking for things to do.
Cajun Food Tours was awarded first place in “Best Tour Company,” followed by Acadiana Travel and Acadiana Bayous & Byways. Cajun Food Tours is a great way to experience the delicious Cajun flavors of the area while Acadiana Bayous & Byways takes tourists on a more scenic type of encounter.
If you are unable to take a Cajun Food Tour but are interested in experiencing some of Acadiana’s “Best of” food, consider visiting Fezzo’s Seafood & Steakhouse, Poor Boy’s Riverside Inn, or Prejean’s, winners of “Best Cajun Restaurant.”
Not only does Acadiana have tons of delicious food to offer, but we also pride ourselves in appreciating live music. There is no doubt that Blue Dog Café took home the “Best Brunch” award for offering both of those wonderful things to patrons every Sunday.
If you are interested in listening (and maybe even dancing) to some good hearted Cajun or Zydeco music, Cowboy’s Night Club, Randol’s, and the Blue Moon Saloon & Guesthouse are the “Best of” places to do so!
